Hi, I’m Casey James - an engineer by trade with a passion for music, philosophy, and making sense of our ever changing world.
On this site I’ll be sharing my thoughts on life’s journey, exploring philosophy, offering political commentary, and occasionally geeking out about music & engineering.
My corner of the internet
I remember when web broswing first became popular around the turn of the century - discovering unique sites filled with authentic passion.
I hope to bring that same spirit here; with my own space on the free and open web.
We’ve lost that in this brave new world where the big tech monopolies have turned the web into an algorithm-driven dystopia, hellbent on bombarding users with ads, selling our data and sowing division all for their own financial gain without any care for the wider impact had on society.
Making it count
Throughout my life’s journey so far, I’ve gathered perspectives that have shaped how I see the world.
We’re “standing on the shoulders of giants”, as Sir Isaac Newton said, and just like our forefathers, we have a responsibility to progress mankind forward for those that come after us.
Life isn’t just about pursuing pleasure - it’s about finding fulfillment through purpose and duty, paying it forward and building on what we’ve received.
Of course, enjoying life’s moments is essential - but lasting fulfillment comes from something deeper.
The longer I live, the more I appreciate the preciousness of our time on Earth. It is meant for uplifting others, building for the future, and paying it forward.

When I’m not writing you can find me either producing music, out with my dogs or hacking away on the golf course.
